Campside Screenprint
These pics of the campside print are a little late. Christmas and all the crazy took over and I got very behind in documenting all my new prints etc.etc. Still have many posts to come including; The Alice and Wonderland Party pics, Christmas placecard pics and the 2011 Christmas softie range. I know, so very late, but they are cute and funny so stay tuned. These satchel bags are on sale at Makespace in the Hunter Street Mall, Newcastle. They are quite roomy and could fit a computer and other essentials. Haven't uploaded to the shop, but will once I get a chance.
Mexican Wedding Flags Rejigged
My friend is having a Zumba/Mexican Inspired birthday bash. I whipped up an invite based on the Mexican wedding flags that I have been googling like a madwoman. Who doesn't love the google machine, I tell you! They are so beautiful and are usually paper cutouts. Pressed for time, and unwilling to face the hand trauma that cutting out 40 invites would entail (been there and done that can of nasty), I drew it in Illustrator instead and then rejigged the invite to make flags for her party as well. I'm like that, just taking it to the next nutty level. These flags will also be on sale this weekend when I do the trek to Avoca Beachside Markets this Sunday 9am -2pm. I wonder if the mexican wedding flags first inspired the papercut artist Rob Ryan? I love his work. Do you? He must have the patience of a saint and fingers worn to stubs.
Scenery Cushions
Here are my scenery cushions which currently consist of two scenes: Dutch Village and At Sea.
I have a landscape/road scene to come and I'll add to this new range as I get inspired. You can mix and match as each little cushion is sold separately. I've got to take pics of them in-situ to give you an idea of size. The largest cushion, dutch buildings, is about 45cm x 45cm.
